CAPACITORS FOR LIGHTING EQUIPMENT
General Information
Gruppo Energia lighting capacitor series LCP (plastic case) and LCM (aluminium case) are designed to improve the power factor of discharge lamps:
- Fluorescent lamps;
- Metal iodide lamps;
- High pressure sodium lamps (HPS);
- Low pressure sodium lamps;
- Mercury-vapor.
These lamps require magnetic ballasts and transformers for ignition and for current limitation during discharge. The improvement of the power factor is achieved by the installation of a capacitor of adequate capacitance into the light fitting.
LCP-LCM series capacitors have been designed and developed in accordance with the most updated manufacturing technology available.
