Motor run and motor start capacitor MRCP – MRCM, manufactured by Gruppo Energia, are designed for continuous duty and for starting single-phase induction motors.

In order to supply the system with the suitable reactive power needed to run correctly, these capacitors are permanently connected to the motor coil terminals and constantly subjected to a voltage higher than 400V.

Motor run capacitors are an essential part of every HVAC system, because they significantly improve the efficiency of induction motors.

For these reasons, the choice of motor capacitors cannot be left to chance and must be carefully taken to avoid any possible overheating of the auxiliary winding. Attention should be paid to operating conditions and permissible loads.
